I will not be there on the night as I will be away on camp with some young people. Anne will be attending in my place and I look forward to seeing you all again in March.
This is our regular monthly practical session where you can experience meditation and mindfulness as self-care tools.
Practicing mindfulness meditation with others in an understanding group can help counter the feelings of isolation that often accompany the suicide of someone close. The practices may also help with the management of painful and complicated feelings. Please RSVP, as places are limited. Resources attached below.
Aspects of mindfulness and meditation can be built into everyday life without feeling like it is an extra demand. Well, the holiday season is upon us again. It's common for it to be a difficult period for those left grieving after a suicide. Come along to M&M for perhaps a moment of respite.
